Initial Setup

1. Turn Off Power: Always turn off power to the heating/air conditioning system prior to installing or adjusting the Zone Panel.
2. Wire Panel: Wire the entire panel before applying transformer power.

Operating the Controller

1. LED Indicators: Panel Power (Green flashing), Equipment (Rh, Rc, Y1/Y2, G/G2, W1/E/AUX/W2/O/B, L), Thermostat (R, Y1/Y2, W1/E/AUX/W2/O/B, G per zone), Dampers (Red closed/Green open).
2. Display: Shows HEAT CALLS, COOL CALLS, FAN CALLS, PLENUM TEMP (if sensor enabled).
3. Zone Operation: Dampers open on calls; all open if no calls. Purge at end of call.
4. Staging: Automatic based on configuration.
5. Emergency Heat: Switch to ON for heat pumps; cooling calls ignored.
Note: Use with compatible thermostats and dampers. Plenum/outdoor sensors for protection and balance point.

Temperature Display Adjustment

Configure temperature scale (°F/°C) in setup menu under DEG. Changing resets plenum limits. No direct calibration; use separate thermometer for verification if needed.

  2. Connect thermostats (R, W1/E/AUX/W2/O/B, Y1/Y2, G per zone), equipment (Rh, Rc, Y1/Y2, G/G2, W1/E/AUX/W2/O/B, L), dampers (PO/PC per zone), optional plenum sensor (SA1/SA2), outdoor sensor (OA1/OA2), dedicated transformer (R, C).
  3. Configure via setup menu.
  4. Push excess wire back.
  5. Apply power, test system using checkout mode.
